The Rainger FX Reverb-X is a compact digital reverb pedal built for players who want more than a standard room, hall, or plate sound. It offers up to 6 seconds of reverberation time and can move from clean, bright sparkle-verb to dark, brooding ambience, gated 80s-style reverb, live-bootleg textures, and overloaded space-rock atmosphere.
Where the Reverb-X gets especially interesting is its distorted reverb path. The pedal places an overdrive circuit after the reverb, letting you blend in anything from a touch of grit to a fully burned-out, saturated reverb glow. Your original dry guitar signal stays present and undistorted, so you can keep your core tone intact while adding huge, textured, distorted ambience behind it.
The included Igor pressure pad controller turns the Reverb-X into a highly expressive performance tool. Plug Igor in and the pedal acts like an effects send: no reverb until you press the pad, then the signal blooms into the reverb path. Release Igor and you return to a dry signal while the reverb decays naturally behind you.
A built-in noise gate gives the Reverb-X its tight, edited character. With the gate engaged, the reverb opens while you play and cuts off hard when you stop, creating dramatic gated textures that feel almost like chopped samples. It is perfect for atmospheric swells, aggressive ambient parts, experimental guitar lines, and controlled bursts of reverb chaos.
