The "Birds of a Feather" inlay was designed a decade ago by PRS Director of Manufacturing and Private Stock chief Paul Miles — a stunning, movement-filled interpretation of PRS's iconic bird inlay, using figured maple and ebony woods to create silhouettes with depth and dimension that no shell inlay can replicate. Until now, this design has lived exclusively in the Private Stock realm. Seeing it on a Custom 24, bathed in a glowing Honey Gold nitro finish over an Artist Grade figured maple top, is something genuinely special — an instrument equally at home on a concert stage, in a world-class studio, or in a private collection as a treasured piece of guitar art.

 And beneath all that breathtaking beauty lives one of PRS's most capable platforms. DMO pickups in both positions deliver the exceptional clarity, balance, and vocal response that have made them a favorite of discerning players, while the 5-way blade switch opens up a full spectrum of humbucking and single-coil-inspired textures. The mahogany back and Pattern neck profile provide that warm, familiar foundation, ebony headstock veneer with Prefactory Eagle inlay crowns the headstock in style, and PRS Phase III locking tuners paired with the Gen III tremolo keep everything locked and resonant through every performance.
