Where the 1x12 focuses its voice through a single speaker for depth and punch, the 2x10 configuration spreads the Fillmore's vintage-voiced character across two custom Celestion Creamback 10" speakers — tighter, more articulate in the midrange, with a quicker transient response and a broader, more enveloping sonic presence that fills the room from edge to edge. Everything that makes the Fillmore 50 platform extraordinary remains fully intact: two fully independent, footswitchable channels each running Clean, Drive, and HI modes through Mesa's Channel Cloning™ system, all-tube long-tank spring reverb with independent channel controls, and the remarkable Dyna-Watt™ power section that gives you Class A/B Triode warmth and liquidity at 20-28 watts or Class A/B Pentode punch and clarity at 40-60 watts — two completely different amplifier personalities at the flip of a switch.
