Mesa Boogie 90's Dual Rectifier - Hot White Bronco / White Grille

There are amplifiers, and then there are seismic events — moments in the history of electric music where everything shifts on its axis and nothing sounds the same again. When the Mesa/Boogie Dual Rectifier arrived in 1992, it was exactly that: a sonic Big Bang that launched a thousand heavy riffs, defined an entire era of rock and metal, and became the gold standard for high-gain tone across the musical universe. The Interstellar Tone Traveler has orbited the legend of the original Recto for decades, which makes landing this custom Dual Rectifier Reissue — faithfully rebuilt by the very same MESA engineers who forged the original back in the early '90s — feel like a genuine milestone. And this particular example didn't arrive dressed quietly: Hot White Bronco covering, Black Diamond Plate Grille, and a Chrome Chassis combine into one of the boldest, most visually commanding amplifier statements we've ever had come through our doors. On a stage, under lights, this thing looks like it arrived from another dimension — because tonally, it kind of did.
The Dual Rectifier Reissue delivers everything that made the original a galactic force, with zero compromise. Two fully independent channels and three modes — from the variable vintage warmth of the Orange channel to the monolithic modern high-gain wall of the Red — give players a tonal range that covers everything from gritty, harmonic-rich crunch to full black-hole breakdown territory. Four 6L6 power tubes (with a bias switch for EL34 swaps) drive 100 watts of Class A/B power, while selectable tube or silicon diode rectification lets you choose between the spongy, harmonically complex feel of vintage tube rectification or the tight, punchy response of solid-state. The Bold/Spongy Variac power switch adds another dimension of feel, and a true-bypassable tube-buffered effects loop, slave output, and comprehensive external switching options make this the most mission-capable version of the most legendary amp in heavy music history. Built for interstellar tone needs — ready to launch.
