Epiphone IGC Artist Lzzy Hale Explorer Custom - Black Diamond Holographic Sparkle

The Interstellar Tone Traveler doesn't often encounter a guitar that makes the room stop — but the Lzzy Hale Explorer Custom in Black Diamond Holographic Sparkle is exactly that kind of arrival. Lzzy Hale is the lead vocalist, rhythm guitarist, and primary songwriter of GRAMMY Award-winning Halestorm, one of the most electrifying hard rock bands of the last two decades, and Gibson's first female Brand Ambassador. She plays the Explorer the way it was always meant to be played: loud, commanding, and without apology. This Epiphone signature model captures that energy entirely. The Black Diamond Holographic Sparkle finish shifts and shimmers with every movement — under stage lighting it becomes something alive, a surface that looks like the cosmos folded into a guitar body — and the single-ply mirror pickguard throws light back into the room from every angle. The angular Explorer silhouette was made for stages, and this one wears the most visually arresting finish the format has ever seen. At 7lbs 2oz, it's also one of the lightest Explorers you'll ever pick up.
The build backs up the spectacle completely. A mahogany Explorer body with 7-ply black top binding carries the gloss finish with authority, and the mahogany neck in SlimTaper 60's "C" profile is fast, comfortable, and designed for players who spend long nights on stage. An ebony fingerboard with pearloid block inlays and aged cream binding sits at a 12" radius with 22 Medium Jumbo frets — every bit the playing surface a serious rock guitarist demands. ProBucker Ignite humbuckers power the signal chain, voiced specifically for the heavier end of the dynamic range, controlled by independent volume knobs per pickup and a master tone, with a 3-way toggle for selection. Grover Mini Rotomatic tuners and a Graph Tech nut hold tuning through full-throttle performances, LockTone Tune-O-Matic and Stop Bar anchor intonation and sustain, and the truss rod cover carries a reproduction of Lzzy's own signature — a detail that reminds you exactly whose guitar this is. Chrome hardware, Explorer "hockey stick" headstock with raised Epiphone 3D nickel logo, and a black stinger on the back of the headstock complete one of the most visually and sonically complete artist models Epiphone has ever released.
