Collings Custom D2HA Cocobolo, Adirondack Top - Natural

Brace for launch. This isn’t just a dreadnought — it’s a sonic supernova. Introducing the 2014 Collings D2HA-Cocobolo, a custom-built tone machine forged from exotic tonewoods and stellar luthiery, now orbiting Interstellar Guitars.
Crafted with Cocobolo back and sides and an Adirondack spruce top, this guitar doesn’t whisper — it roars across the void. Bold, articulate, and full of harmonic gravity, it’s what happens when boutique craftsmanship collides with tonewood from another star system.
Thanks to its pre-war scalloped X-bracing (Adirondack braces, no tongue brace), this D2HA projects like a pulsar—focused, rich, and endlessly resonant. Whether you're fingerpicking a lunar lullaby or strumming like a meteor storm, every note is clean, commanding, and loaded with sustain.
The neck, carved from Honduran mahogany with a Modified V profile, feels fast and familiar. Paired with a compound radius ebony fretboard, it plays with zero resistance — like navigating zero gravity.
Visually, this guitar is nothing short of galactic:
This is the kind of guitar that changes players. A rare cosmic cannon of acoustic tone, powered by Collings' legendary build quality and tonewood rarities. Perfect for collectors, session players, and songwriters ready to send their sound into deep space.
One-off. One-of-a-kind. One giant leap for your tone!
