Three channels cover every territory from crystal-clear clean to liquid, searing lead. Channel one delivers pristine, full clean tone. Channel two runs hotter with increased gain and re-voiced low-mid frequency definition for chunky overdrive and improved definition in the midrange. Channel three is the amp's most aggressive setting — improved low control range and increased liquid gain for high-saturation lead tones that respond with the dynamic sensitivity that made the 5150 platform legendary. Channels one and two share EQ (Low, Mid, High) with independent dual-concentric gain and volume controls for precise level matching; channel three runs its own full gain, volume, and EQ suite. Global presence and resonance controls shape the amp's overall response across all channels. Seven JJ ECC83 preamp tubes and a pair of Shuguang 6L6 power tubes drive the output stage, with switchable impedance at 4, 8, and 16 ohms, adjustable bias, an effects loop, and a direct out for recording. Includes the original four-button footswitch.
