PRS DGT Semi-Hollow 10-Top - Charcoal

Strap in and prepare for liftoff. The PRS DGT Semi-Hollow 10 Top in Charcoal is a tone vessel built for players who want vintage soul, modern precision, and just a little extra gravity in their sound.
Inspired by one of David Grissom’s own Private Stock instruments, this Semi-Hollow DGT expands the orbit of the classic DGT platform. The semi-hollow construction adds air and resonance to the note attack, warming the top end, tightening the low frequencies, and delivering beautifully controlled feedback—perfect for expressive leads and dynamic rhythm work.
As a proud Texas shop, we love that this guitar carries the DNA of a fellow Texan. David Grissom’s decades-long collaboration with PRS shines through here: a no-nonsense, player-first instrument that feels broken-in from the first chord, yet refined enough for any stage or studio in the galaxy.
The Curly Maple 10 Top glows beneath a high-gloss nitro finish, while the Charcoal colorway evokes deep space elegance—dark, dramatic, and endlessly cool. Under the hood, custom-voiced DGT pickups, dual volume controls, and a push/pull tone control offer a wide tonal spectrum, from smoky vintage warmth to articulate bite, all with effortless control.
This is a guitar designed not for display, but for exploration. Whether you’re bending notes into orbit or locking into a Texas groove, the DGT Semi-Hollow responds with clarity, resonance, and unmistakable PRS refinement.
“The semi-hollow design has a bit warmer top end, a little less bottom than the solid body, and I can get more controlled feedback. I’m glad it’s officially joining the PRS lineup.”
— David Grissom
