When Gibson revived the Victory in 2024, they gave modern players what they'd been asking for — and then the Interstellar Tone Traveler watched it become one of our fastest-moving models. Now Gibson has extended the Victory lineup into territory where very few production guitars from a major American builder dare to go: the Victory Baritone, in British Racing Green, is here. The deep, sophisticated green of this finish — named for the iconic color of British motorsport — gives this guitar a commanding visual presence that reads as both classic and completely contemporary, and the rear-mounted electronics with no pickguard keep the body surface clean and uninterrupted for a silhouette that looks as purposeful as it sounds. At 6lbs 5oz, this is also one of the lightest baritone guitars you will ever hold — the double-cutaway mahogany body somehow manages to feel like a standard guitar in your hands while delivering everything a 28" scale instrument promises.

The Victory Baritone ships tuned B-to-B on .013–.062 strings, bridging the gap between standard guitar range and bass territory with the playability and fretted response that only a properly scaled guitar can deliver. The glued-in mahogany neck with compound 10"–16" radius ebony fingerboard and 24 Medium Jumbo frets covers the extended range with a fretboard geometry that makes bending in the upper registers feel natural rather than stiff — and the Rounded C profile keeps the substantial 28" scale from feeling like a workout. The new ELEV8 humbuckers are the tonal centerpiece: Alnico 8 magnets and custom-gauge wire produce focused, powerful output that handles the extended low strings without turning to mud, while maintaining the articulation and dynamic sensitivity that heavy music demands. The coil-splitting system goes further than most: push/pull volume for the split, push/pull tone to select inner or outer coil when split — combined with the 3-way toggle, this gives you a genuinely wide range of humbucking and single-coil voices from a minimum of controls. Nashville Tune-O-Matic, Stop Bar tailpiece, chrome hardware, and GraphTech nut complete the package. Hardshell case included.
