ESP E-II Eclipse Full Thickness - Tobacco Sunburst
products.product.pickup_availability.unavailable
The Interstellar Tone Traveler has great respect for the guitar factories of Tokyo — and ESP's own facility stands among the finest workshops in any corner of the universe. The E-II line represents professional-grade Japanese craftsmanship without compromise, and the Eclipse Full Thickness in Tobacco Sunburst is one of the most visually and tonally commanding instruments in the entire lineup. That traditionally thick mahogany body — no thinline shortcuts here — is crowned with a flamed maple top that glows under the rich Tobacco Sunburst finish like a star system caught mid-nebula, all dressed in binding that frames every curve with classic elegance. The mahogany set neck and bound ebony fingerboard give this Eclipse a voice that's full, focused, and ferociously alive from the first open chord to the highest fret on the board.
Where the E-II Eclipse Full Thickness truly separates itself from the cosmos is in its component selection — no corners cut, no compromises made. Gotoh locking tuners and a Gotoh TOM bridge and tailpiece lock intonation in place with mechanical precision, while a bone nut and black hardware complete a package built for the road. The Fishman Fluence Open Core Classic Humbuckers are the crown jewel: three distinct voicings accessed via push-pull controls give this guitar a tonal range that spans vintage-warm PAF character, modern high-output ferocity, and single-coil clarity — all in total silence. A thin "U" neck profile keeps everything fast and fluid under the hand, and at 8 lbs. 14 oz. this guitar carries the authoritative weight of a professional instrument built to perform anywhere in the galaxy.
