The result is a guitar that bends easier, feels more immediate under the hands, and has a slightly warmer, rounder midrange character than a full 25.5" Tele — while still delivering all the snap, twang, and articulation that swamp ash and a traditional 3-saddle compensated bridge have been promising players for seventy years. The Dark Honey Burst finish on that swamp ash grain is absolutely gorgeous — warm amber and caramel swirling through the wood like light through a jar of honey, set off perfectly by the pearl white pickguard and satin natural caramel maple neck.

Anderson's pickup selection on the T-Icon Shorty is characteristically thoughtful.
