For us at Interstellar Guitars, attending the NAMM Show 2026 was exactly that kind of moment. Our inaugural voyage as a team to the biggest gathering of musical gear on the planet was nothing short of electrifying.
If you’ve never heard of it, NAMM (The National Association of Music Merchants Show) is the annual convergence of the global music industry, held every January in Southern California. Imagine every major brand, boutique builder, innovator, and artist all packed into one sprawling, buzzing space. It’s loud. It’s chaotic. It’s nonstop. And it’s an absolute playground for anyone who lives and breathes music.
From the second we arrived, it felt like stepping into a different dimension—one where guitars shimmer like stars, amps roar like rocket engines, and inspiration is everywhere you turn.
First Impressions: Entering the Gear Galaxy
Walking into NAMM for the first time as a store and team was surreal. Booth after booth of stunning instruments, cutting-edge technology, and passionate builders made it clear: this isn’t just a trade show—it’s the beating heart of the music world.
We had the chance to reconnect with some of our longtime friends and partners, including the always-amazing Sully from Sully Guitars,the great Shuu from Radial, ESP, PRS, Martin and spent time admiring the craftsmanship of Tom Anderson guitars—true works of art that continue to set the bar sky-high.
And that was just the beginning.
Old Friends, New Alliances
One of the best parts of NAMM is the people. It’s where relationships are strengthened and new ones are forged. We connected with vendors we’ve worked with for years and made exciting new contacts that have us seriously fired up for what’s ahead.
Let’s just say… there are some big announcements on the horizon. New brand alliances, fresh gear, and some things we’ve been dreaming about for a long time are finally coming into alignment. Stay tuned—you’re going to want to see what’s next.
The Energy of NAMM
There’s really no way to fully describe the energy unless you’ve experienced it. Everywhere you go, there’s someone playing something incredible. Drums echo from one hall, shredding guitars from another, synths swirling somewhere in between. It’s sensory overload in the best possible way.
And the best part? You truly never know who you’ll run into. Artists, builders, legends—it’s all part of the magic.
Did We Bend the Space-Time Continuum?
Now, we don’t want to say our presence altered the course of NAMM 2026… but we’re also not not saying that. Let’s just say there may have been a few extra ripples in the cosmic fabric when Interstellar Guitars touched down. Papers flying? Booths buzzing? Coincidence? We’ll let you decide.
